Cashless system for events

All the food and drink at your event, in one system.

Bars, stalls, roaming vendors and self-service kiosks take payment by cashless wristband, card, QR or PIX, and every sale reaches your revenue the moment it happens. You see everything; each vendor sees their own.

Sales panel for Festival Rompiente, day 2: every sale from the bars, stalls and roaming vendors reaches the total as it happens, with its location and payment method.

How your event gets paid

Every event gets paid its own way.

Choose the payment model that fits your event. Revenue and control stay the same in all of them.

Cashless wristband or card

Guests pay by tapping their wristband or card, with balance loaded in advance. In nightclubs they can also run a tab and pay on the way out (postpaid).

Best for festivals, parties and long events, where each guest buys many times.

  • One-tap paymentGuests pay with a tap of the wristband, no wallet and no change: the line keeps moving.
  • Works offlineBars keep selling even if the network goes down.
  • Revenue up frontOnline top-ups come in before the gates open.
  • Online refundsLeftover balance is refunded online.
  • Age and alcoholAge checks and alcohol limits on the same wristband.
  • Entry and paymentThe ticket wristband can be the same one used to pay.

You need: wristbands or cards, plus booths to top up and refund balance (or to settle tabs at the exit, for postpaid).

What about cash? You can accept it at bars, cashiers and roaming vendors, and it works offline.

Direct payment

Guests pay on the spot by card or with a wallet QR, with no wristband and no top-up.

Best for stadiums, concerts and short events, where each guest buys only a few times.

  • Nothing to hand out or loadEveryone pays with what they already carry.
  • Each country’s payment methodsCredit and debit cards, PIX, Mercado Pago, MODO and more.
  • The same controlEvery sale lands in your revenue, just like with wristbands.

You need: an internet connection at the points of sale.

What about cash? You can accept it at bars, cashiers and roaming vendors, and it works offline.

Combined

Wristbands and direct payment side by side at the same event.

Best for events with a mixed crowd, where not everyone tops up a wristband.

  • Guests chooseWristband, card or QR at the same bar.
  • All revenue in one placeEverything goes into the same system and the same reports.

You need: wristbands and top-up booths, plus a connection for direct payments.

What about cash? You can accept it at bars, cashiers and roaming vendors, and it works offline.

A South Bar POS charges two beers to a wristband while offline: the wristband touches down, the balance drops from ARS 40,000 to ARS 27,000 and the receipt prints.

Event types

A festival doesn’t take payments like a stadium.

Your payment model and points of sale are set up around how your audience buys.

All your revenue, under your control.

Every register, every vendor and every wristband in one dashboard: what your finance team needs to close out the event.

Live sales dashboard for Festival Rompiente 2027, day 2: sales, transactions, wristband balance and blocked wristbands; sales by hour; sales by point of sale with a View payouts button; and register closeouts, one of them short by ARS 3,500. On top, a vendor’s phone with its read-only link and latest sales.
  1. Centralized revenue

Everything sold at the event goes through you, with any payment method, and you see it live.

  2. Payouts per vendor

Reports per point of sale to settle each vendor, who invoices with their own tax details.

  3. A link for every vendor

Each one follows their own sales on their phone, with no login or spreadsheets.

  4. Cash counts with variances

Each register closes against what it sold, with any variance in plain sight. Supervisors approve openings and withdrawals.

  5. Blocked wristbands

A lost or suspicious wristband is blocked from the dashboard and connected devices reject it instantly.

  6. Protected balance

The balance is encrypted on the wristband chip: a cloned or tampered wristband won’t work.

The demo covers the full dashboard, from the first sale to every register closeout.

Frequently asked questions

Have another question? Get in touch

What is a cashless system?

It’s the system that runs sales inside an event without the money staying at each stall. It started with prepaid wristbands or cards that replace cash. Crowder Cashless adds cards, QR, PIX and cash to the same system.

Do I need wristbands?

No. You can run only direct payments, only wristbands, or combine both. We’ll help you choose for your event.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Cashless wristband or card payments and cash keep working offline, and everything syncs when the network is back. Credit or debit cards, QR and PIX need a connection to authorize the payment.

How does postpaid work?

Guests buy with their wristband or card without loading balance, up to a limit you set, and pay the total at a booth on the way out. It’s mostly used in nightclubs.

How are vendors paid out?

With sales reports per point of sale. Each vendor can also see their own sales through a dedicated link.

How do guests get their unused balance back?

Online, by bank transfer or PIX, or at the event’s refund booths.
